Edmonton Rush Heritage Archive

About This Archive

This website is an independent, non-commercial heritage project dedicated to preserving the history of the Edmonton Rush, the professional box lacrosse team that played in Edmonton, Alberta, from 2006 to 2015. It exists so that a decade of local sports history — capped by a championship — is not lost when a team leaves town.

Not Affiliated

We want to be completely clear: this archive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Lacrosse League, the Saskatchewan Rush, or any active lacrosse club or organization. All team, league, venue and personal names appear here strictly as historical references, used to accurately document events that took place during the Edmonton era. No official association is implied, and no merchandise, tickets, or services are offered.

How the Content Is Written

The material here is original editorial writing based on publicly documented facts — league records, contemporary news coverage, and public reference sources. We do not reproduce copyrighted articles, and we do not publish private information about individuals. Where players and staff are named, it is in a historical, past-tense context appropriate to a retrospective. If you spot an error, we want to correct it.

Our Approach to Privacy

Out of respect for the many people who were part of the franchise — including community-facing groups such as the game-day dance squad — we write about the organization and its history at the level of the team, not through individual personal profiles. This is a history of a club, not a directory of the people who passed through it.
