Seasons & Results (2006-2015)

Across ten seasons the Edmonton Rush compiled an all-time regular-season record of 75-89 and an 8-6 mark in the playoffs — numbers that undersell a franchise whose trajectory pointed sharply upward in its final years. This page collects the season-by-season shape of the Edmonton era, from expansion growing pains to a championship peak.

The Build (2006-2009)

The early Rush were an expansion club learning the professional game. Wins came in fits and starts under head coaches Paul Day and, briefly, Bob Hamley, but the seasons laid the groundwork: a draft pipeline, a defensive philosophy, and a growing base of Edmonton lacrosse fans. These years were about survival and development more than standings, and they quietly stocked the roster with pieces that would matter later.

The Turn (2010-2013)

Derek Keenan took over the bench and front office in 2010 and immediately changed the team's ceiling, earning NLL Coach of the Year honours that season. The Rush became a perennial Western contender, reaching the Champion's Cup final in 2012 before falling short. The provincial rivalry with the Calgary Roughnecks sharpened, and Edmonton increasingly played the role of favourite rather than underdog. It was clear the club was building toward something.

The Peak (2014-2015)

Edmonton returned to the final in 2014, losing again, then broke through in 2015 with a 13-5 regular season and the franchise's first championship. Two straight finals appearances, capped by a title, remains the high-water mark of Rush lacrosse — and a reminder that the disappointments of 2012 and 2014 were the price of admission for 2015.
